On Friday, September 14th, SQL Server Data Tools will release an update for both Visual Studio 2010 and Visual Studio 2012. SSDT functionality for both Visual Studio versions are completely in sync with this update, and database projects (.sqlproj) fully roundtrip, so working with colleagues across shells is easy. Along with this release, we are providing updated power tools with useful new capabilities. Plus, for the first time, the SSDT Power Tools will be available for both Visual Studio 2010 and Visual Studio 2012.
In our upcoming release announcement, we’ll provide more detail about the improvements that you’ll find in SQL Server Data Tools – September 2012. In the meantime, check out the Visual Studio 2012 Virtual Launch Event at www.visualstudiolaunch.com and don’t forget to check back on Friday for the new SSDT!
